Wolverines To Go 8-4, maybe. It Will Be a Strong 8-4.
My preseason prognostications:
Sports Illustrated picks Michigan to go 7-5 and 4-4 in the Big Ten, finishing 5th place in the Legends Conference. 8-4? 7-5? Who really knows.
Either way, it will be a tough 8-4 or 7-5, not the wimpy one of last year.
This team will play tough defense. And strong offense. We won't be in high scoring track meet games to see who can score last to win the game. Power football this year. When we lose, we'll lose close and the other team with hurt more than Michigan after the game.
I don't think we'll do better than 8-4 mostly because the month of November is Iowa, Nebraska, and Ohio State. At least we get to grow into the tough part of the schedule. Notre Dame(very tough), and Michigan State will be tough also.
But here's what I hope. A repeat of Bo's initial season. Start strong and keep getting stronger and we surprise the heck out of the Big Ten and the Nation. We'll see what excellent coaching and a commitment to excellence produces. We have the talent.
Here's hoping we don't have to wait until next season to see it and enjoy it and see it dominate.
